About Ellsworth Harvey Overton
Ellsworth Overton was born in Canada and lived in Australia since the mid 1880s. A self taught artist, he is a traditional landscape artist working in oils and watercolours. He has extensive experience in painting murals in Canada, Mexico United States and Australia and has been a finalist in the Rochester Mural Festival on three occasions. He lives and works in the Melbourne suburb of Ringwood.
We have records of art auction sales by Ellsworth Overton from 1980 and in total 20 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 11 (55%) were sold.
