Ellsworth Overton was born in Canada and lived in Australia since the mid 1880s. A self taught artist, he is a traditional landscape artist working in oils and watercolours. He has extensive experience in painting murals in Canada, Mexico United States and Australia and has been a finalist in the Rochester Mural Festival on three occasions. He lives and works in the Melbourne suburb of Ringwood.
