Tony Windberg was born in Melbourne in 1966. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) from Curtin University in 1986, with a major in painting. He uses a diverse range of materials including pencil, ash, charcoals, tree resins, earth pigments, acrylic binders, oil conte and crayon to create his landscape based artworks. Since his first solo exhibition in Perth in 1989, he has held numerous solo shows and exhibited in national and state group exhibitions. He lives and works in Pemberton, in south west Western Australia.
