Born in Central Otago in 1954, Roger Morris travelled for five years, and then studied at Elam School of Fine Art in Auckland for a term in 1981. He is a contemporary painter in oils, a sculptor and printmaker and has shown extensively in solo and group exhibitions since 1986. He signs his work ‘REMO’ since its easier to paint 'r e m o'as signature than 'Roger Edward Morris' on the paintings.
We have records of art auction sales by Roger Morris aka Remo from 2005 and in total 21 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 16 (76%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,320 for You May Feel a Little Prick sold by Lawsons in August 2011. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2017.
