Born in 1963 in Papua New Guinea, Mark Waller is a self taught photo realist artist based in Lennox Heads in Northern New South Wales since 1973. He has held solo exhibitions and participated in group shows in the eastern states of Australia since 1991. Among his awards from art shows have been 1st Prize in Traditional Painting and 2nd Prize Landscape Painting in the Southern Cross Arts Festival in 2004, and selection as a finalist in the 2006 Tattersalls Art Prize in Brisbane.
