Born in Sydney in 1953, painter and illustrator Gordon Fitchett studied graphic design at Swinburne Institute of Technology in Melbourne in 1973. He has had illustrations published in 'Woman's Day' 'Dolly' and 'Playboy' and he has written and/or illustrated about six children's books. Fitchett has exhibited in Sydney, country New South Wales, Melbourne and San Francisco, USA from the 1980s to the 2020s.
