Born in Italy in 1925, Dan Mazzotti studied painting, sculpture, ceramics and mosaics before arriving in Australia in 1952. He taught painting and sculpture in Perth and regional centres and was appointed Art Master at Aquinas College, Perth in 1969. Mazzotti had a number of commissions, and exhibited his work in solo shows from 1963.
