Born in England in 1959, Paul Woodruffe arrived in New Zealand in 1964. He studied at Auckland Institute of Technology, (Unitec) where he is a Senior Lecturer. He has worked as an artist since 1981 and been a finalist in many of New Zealand’s top art awards such as the Waikato Art Award and the National Portrait Award.
