Born about 1926 Australian Aboriginal artist Hector Jandany was a painter of the Warmun community at Turkey Creek in the Eastern Kimberley of W A. He was a leader and elder of his community.

The earliest auction listing we have for Hector Jandany is in 1996 and in total 137 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 74 (54%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $36,925 for Ascension 1993 sold by Sotheby's in July 2005. This year one work has been offered for sale.
