Ben Taylor was born in Sydney in 1960 and is a painter, printmaker and teacher. He is a graduate of the Canberra School of Art and was a lecturer in Printmaking there from 1983 to 1985. He has been exhibiting in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane since 1983. He lives and works in Monaro in southern New South Wales, and working in oil and acrylic, draws inspiration from decaying farm buildings in the area.
