About Dorca Charles Sewell
Born in Bermondsey, London in 1907, Dorca Sewell studied in London and Paris and trained as a teacher and architect. Best known as a marine artist he exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists, the British Society of Artists, and the United Society of Artists in London, prior to moving to Australia sometime after 1939. In Australia he exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne in the 1970s.
