Little is known of this artist. She was born in England in 1897, and after settling in Perth she shared a studio with Portia Bennett, Margaret Johnson and Muriel Southern in the 1930s. They held a joint exhibition in 1933 in Newspaper House in Perth. They also became became foundation members of the Perth Society of Artists. In 1938 the Art Gallery of Western Australia purchased a painting by her from the Perth Society of Artists.

The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,100 for Camp Site sold by GFL Fine Art in March 1997.
