Australian Aboriginal artist Heather Walker was born in Rockhampton Queensland in 1942. She studied at the North Queensland Art Centre for Aborigines and Islanders. She works with batik, linocut and ceramics and exhibited at the Queensland Museum in Brisbane in 1988.
