Born in Brisbane in 1930, Kenneth Wenzel is a self-taught artist painting landscapes and seascapes in oil. He commenced painting aged 14 and has been a full time artist based on the Sunshine Coast, since 1974. He has exhibited in solo shows since 1977 in Brisbane and Sydney and has won several art prizes.

The earliest auction listing we have for Kenneth Wenzel is in 1986 and in total 16 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 13 (81%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,250 for Old Grazing Property sold by Queensland Fine Art Auctions in November 1988.
