Born in Melbourne in 1942, Virginia Coventry is a painter, photographer and teacher. She studied extensively in Melbourne, London and Europe. She has exhibited in most eastern state capital cities, and in London and Tokyo. Coventry is represented in the Australian National Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria.
