Born in the United Kingdom in 1936, Neville Weston was an art lecturer and painter of Pop Art style paintings. He exbibited with David Hockney and William Blake in the Young Contemporaries exhibitions in London. He arrived in Australia in 1975 as a visiting fellow with the Australian National University, then stayed on to teach, paint and write. Weston has exhibited widely, his paintings from the 1980s becoming more romantic realist in style. He taught at the South Australia School of Art from 1977, and was art critic for 'The Advertiser' from 1980 - 1986.
