Born in Melbourne in 1957, Deborah Halpern is a ceramic sculptor who received some training from her father, potter Stanislaw Halpern. She has exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, her first solo show being in Melbourne in 1978 and has accepted many commission for both public and private installations.
