About Carl Cooper
Carl Cooper was born at Williamstown, Victoria in 1912. A potter, he worked with the Boyd family at their AMB pottery in Murrumbeena in the mid 1940s. He later set up his own pottery and produced highly decorated wares, influenced by Aboriginal themes.
