Lorri Whiting (nee Fraser) was born in Melbourne in 1927, She studied sculpture at RMIT before moving to Italy in the early 1950s with her husband Bertie Whiting, where they lived in Rome for the rest of their lives. From 1959 to 2019 she held over 20 solo exhibitions, in Melbourne in 2010, at the Charles Nodrum Gallery and in Italy, England, America. She died in Italy in 2019.
