About James Rogers
Sculptor James Rogers was born in Sydney in 1956 and studied sculpture and music at the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education (University of Southern Queensland) from 1977 to 1979, after which he returned to Sydney. He worked from various studios in Sydney and was a part time teacher for over 20 years in the Sculpture Department of The National Art School. He has held regular solo exhibitions in Sydney as well as showing in ten editions of Sydney's Sculpture by the Sea. He now lives and works in Walcha, on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2011.
