A Sydney photographer, Grant Mudford studied architecture in the mid-1960s, and worked as a commercial photographer from 1965 to 1974. He later moved to the United States, and has exhibited his work since 1972 in Sydney and Melbourne and in the US. Mudford's works are represented in the national and state galleries in Australia, in London and at MOMA in New York.
The total number of works by Grant Mudford offered for sale by auction since 1997 is 7, of which 5 (71%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,912 for Paint Tub No. 7 sold by Christies in May 2005. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2016.
