About Syd Mather
Born in Victoria in 1944, Mather studied at the Melbourne National Gallery Art School and at Melbourne University. He has been a full-time artist since 1973 painting in a romantic impressionist style. He has exhibited in Melbourne and is also the recipient of several art prizes. He is represented in private collections in Australia and overseas.
