Born in Victoria in 1862, Muntz-Adams studied at the National Gallery School, Melbourne, and in and in Paris and London. A portait and lanscape artist, she exhibited twice at the Old Salon in Paris. She lived in Brisbane for a period in the early 1900s and was art instructor at the Central Technical College in Brisbane. She returned to Melbourne in 1922 where she continued her portraiture.
