Born in New Zealand in 1946, Bruce Treloar studied at the Elam School of Fine Art and University of Auckland. A painter and illustrator, mostly of marine subjects, Bruce Treloar began exhibiting in Sydney in 1982. Publications he has illustrated include 'Bumble's Dream' (1979) and 'Bumble's Island' (1983).
