About Yona Misso
Born in Colombo, Sri Langka, for 10 years Yona Misso studied under William Frater, and also studied music in London at the Royal Academy of Music. Painting in oil and watercolour, she favoured landscapes, flowers and figurative works. She exhibited at the Victorian Artists Society from 1974, and has won numerous provincial art show awards.
The total number of works by Yona Misso offered for sale by auction since 1983 is 17, of which 11 (65%) were sold. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2014.
