Willie Kuribi Gudipi was born about 1916 at Nutwood Downs Station, Northern Territory. A popular Aboriginal artist he frequently worked and exhibited with his wife Moima Willie in solo exhibitions in Melbourne and other cities, as well as participating in a number of group exhibitions.

We have records of art auction sales by Willie Kuribi Gudipi from 1993 and in total 69 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 42 (61%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $19,550 for Dance and Song Cycles 1993 sold by Sotheby's in June 2000.
