Born in 1949 Carol Jerrems was a Melbourne based photographer. Her photographs of Melbourne life and of her actor friends were exhibited in several group shows during the 1970s. In 1979-80 she taught photography at the University of Tasmania, She had work included in the exhibition Australian Art & Society 1901 - 2001 touring 2000 to 2002. She died in 1980 at the age 30 of an undiagnosed illness.
