About Paul Evans
Born in Brisbane in 1950, Paul Evans studied at the Brisbane College of Art and worked in the fashion industry for ten years before becoming a full-time artist in 1980. Working in oil and acrylics he paints landscapes and seascapes in the traditional style. He exhibited in Caloundra and Sydney in the 1980s.
The total number of works by Paul Evans offered for sale by auction since 1986 is 19, of which 16 (84%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $4,173 for The Old Smelter, Chillagoe sold by Lawson~Menzies (now trading as Menzies) in June 2014.
