Katarina Vesterberg was born in Sweden 1962 in Karlstad Sweden and arrived in Australia in 1971. An impressionist painter, she held her first solo exhibition in 1990 and since then has exhibited in all the Australian capitals in solo and group shows. In 1990 she was awarded the Arch Lane Inaugural Drawing Prize (Brisbane) and in 1997 was the winner of the inaugural '15 Artists Exhibition' award, at Queensland's Redcliffe Regional Art Gallery.
