About Joseph Richard Mayclair, Senior
Little is known of the Mayclair family of artists. The family, Joseph Senior and his son Jospeh Junior, and their wives were itinerant artists in colonial New Zealand and travelled around the North isaland on foot, painting as they went. Nothing is known of their education or exhibitions, if any.
