Born in Sydney in 1969 Chris Langlois studied at the University of Newcastle and was awarded a BA in Visual Arts, and Sydney University. An abstract landscape painter he has held his first solo exhibition in Newcastle in 1990, and since then has participated in group and solo shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. He has been a finalist in the Wynne Prize, Art Gallery of New South Wales in 2006, 2007 and 2010.
