Peter Dunne was born in Melbourne 1929 and is a painter and teacher in landscape, seascape and portraiture in most mediums. He studied drawing and painting, under Murray Griffin at the National Gallery School 1948-48, first exhibiting in 1957, and again in 1959 with Stan Ballard and Laurie Kermond at the Athenaeum Gallery. He moved from Melbourne to the Bega Valley, New South Wales in 1985.
