Born in New South Wales in 1949, Anne Ferran studied art extensively in Sydney. A photographer, installation artist and teacher, she has exhibited widely in most eastern capital cities. Ferran has received several art awards and scholarships, and in 1992 was appointed head of the Photomedia Workshop at the Canberra School of Art.
