A New Zealand artist and writer, Jacqui Fahey was born in 1929. She studied at the Canterbury College School of Art, University of Canterbury from 1946-51. A writer and artist, she paints in a figurative style, her subject matter taken from domestic everyday activities. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows throughout her career. In the late 1980s Jacqui Fahey became a lecturer at Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University.
