Australian Aboriginal artist George Mung Mung was born about 1920 was one of the founders of the Warmun community in the Kimberley area of W A iin the 1970s. He exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne in 1989 and his work was included in exhibitions by the National Gallery of Victoria, the Art Gallery of NSW and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory between 1989 and 2006.

The highest price recorded for the artist is $34,800 for Lankerrji - Death Adder Snake c. 1987 sold by Sotheby's in July 2007.
