About John Konstant
Ukrainian John Konstant was born Germany 1947 in a "displaced persons camp" and arrived in Australia at the age of two. He studied painting and fine arts at the University of New England, and in 1980 established his own gallery, Bentinck Gallery with his wife in Ballina, in the northern rivers region of New South Wales. He has exhibited his paintings in New South Wales, southern Queensland and Victoria.
