An Anmatyerre Aboriginal painter from the Papunya area of the Northern Territory, he spent many years working as a stockman across the Northern Territory before arriving in Papunya in the mid 1970’s, when he began his painting career. Painting in synthetic polymer, he has exhibited throughout Australia and in Canada, the USA, Japan, Germany, UK, Denmark and France. .
