About Christopher Lewis
Born in Adelaide in 1957, Christopher Lewis studied painting at the College of Art in Brisbane from 1975-77 and completed a Post Graduate Cerificate in Sculpture at the East Sydney Technical College in 1986. In the 1980s he travelled and worked in Indonesia, USA and Greece. He has held more than 11 solo exhibitions in Sydney since 1981 and has been a finalist in the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW on three occasions.
We have records of art auction sales by Christopher Lewis from 1992 and in total 33 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 17 (52%) were sold. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2022.
