Born in Victoria in 1929, Cecil Hardy is a painter, printmaker and teacher. He studied in Melbourne and produced art work for posters, before training to teach art in secondary and tertiary colleges. Hardy first exhibited in 1968, and his work has since been shown throughout Australia and overseas. He is represented in the National Collection and state galleries.
