A New South Wales artist, Ray Hilan was born in 1932. He painted landscapes, flowers and still life in both oil and watercolour. Hilan has won a number of awards and held his first one man show in Sydney in 1966. His first solo exhibition was in Sydney in 1966. His work is represented in the Australian National Gallery Collection.
