About Deborah Paauwe
Born in Pennsylvania in the United States in 1972 Deborah Paauwe arrived in Adelaide in 1985. She studied at the South Australian School of the Arts in 1996, at the International Centre of Photography, New York, USA in 1998 and the Chelsea School of Art in 2000. A photographer, her figurative works have been exhibited widely throughour Australia and overseas since her first exhibition in Adelaide in 1994.
The earliest auction listing we have for Deborah Paauwe is in 2003 and in total 88 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 55 (63%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $7,800 for Red in Recline sold by Sotheby's in August 2004. This year one work has been offered for sale.
