Born in Yugoslavia in 1931, Ray Miljkovic arrived in Australia in 1959. He studied was awarded a Diplomma of Fine Arts (Photography) education and Agricultural Science from the Academy of Fine Arts Belgrade. A traditional painter of landscapes and seascapes in oil and watercolour he was also a teacher, and was lecturer and Head of Department at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He has exhibited in the eastern states of Australia from 1962 to the 1980s and in Yugoslavia.

We have records of art auction sales by Ray Miljkovic from 1982 and in total 28 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 14 (50%) were sold. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2023.
