Born in England in 1925 Patrick Henigan arrived in Australia in 1950 and after briefly working, he member of the Franciscan religious order. He was permitted to study at the College of Fine Art, Brisbane and Prahran College of Education, Melbourne. His paintings tend to have a religious themes. He exhibited in Melbourne bettween 1980 and 1994 and rthen again in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011
