Born in Cottesloe, Western Australia in 1936, after leaving school Bruce Malloch worked as a jackaroo in North Western Australia. But his interest in art led him to Study at Perth Technical College after which he worked as a commercial artist for many years in Perth, Sydney and London, before becoming a full-time painter. He has exhibited in Western Australia and Victoria, and overseas in the UK and USA. He lives and works in Esperance, Western Australia.
