About Arthur w Chapple
Active in the Sydney area in the 1880s and 1890s, Arthur Chapple was a traditional painter of landscapes and seacapes, working in oil and watercolour. He held an exhibition at the Royal Art Society in 1891.
We have records of art auction sales by Arthur Chapple from 1974 and in total 13 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 6 (46%) were sold.
