Born in Adelaide in 1952, Peter Bond studied at the South Australian School of Art, after which he moved to Europe. He lived in Berlin in the early 1970s and later moved to London where he completed his Bachelor of Arts. In Paris he lived and worked for 10 years learning the art of etching. He returned to Sydney in 1987 for a year to teach and then returned to Paris where he lives. A printmaker, he has exhibited his etchings widely in Australia and overseas.
