About nee Isabel Hodgkins Field
Born in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1867, Isabel Field was the sister of Frances Hodgkins. Taught by her father, W M Hodgkins, she exhibited in Dunedin from 1884 to 1908 and in the 1888-89 Centennial Exhibition in Melbourne. In 1893 she married W. H. Field and settled in Wellington.
