Born in England in 1880, Frank Reynolds arrived in Australia in 1899, after studying at the Royal College of Art, South Kensington, and the British Museum in London Known principally as a landscape painter, he also painted several notable portraits. He exhibited with the Victorian Artists' Society from 1907 to 1923 and was a member of the Society until his death in 1932.
