About Yvonne Atkinson
Born in Melbourne in 1918, Yvonne Atkinson (Daniell) studied under George Bell and Arnold Shore. She exhibited her work with the Victorian Artists Society and the Contemporary Art Society. After a period of retirement she returned to exhibiting in Melbourne in 1970. Between 1974 and 1976 she signed her paintings with her married name, Yvonne Daniell.
