Born in Belfast, Ireland in 1949, Ray Beattie arrived in Sydney in 1967. He studied at the West Australian Institute of Technology and the Victorian College of the Arts. A printmaker, he has exhibited with the Print Council of Australia and Printmakers Association of Western Australia.
