Born in New South Wales in 1914, Harold Greenhill studied in Sydney and Europe. A painter and teacher, he was for many years a strong supporter of the Manly Regional Art Gallery. Greenhill has exhibited regularly and in 1979 a retrospective exhibition of his work was held at the Manly Regional Art Gallery.
